DARPAN CSI Application Best Practices

1.	Post Successful implementation of APP, perform following deployment activities

1.     Switch On the Device

2.    Click on Demo Booking Application

3.    Wait for at least 30 Mins – 60 Mins.

2.            Post performing the BODA Generation on device, RICT Device should be kept “Switch On” for at least 30 minutes, as Data synchronization activity is happening with the server.

3.            RICT Device charge should be sufficient while performing business transactions.

4.            User need to log a Ticket in Service Desk Tool via Portal or Mobile APP whenever Device/Application/SAP related issue is faced. Mobile APP details are mentioned as part of User SOP document shared at time of roll out

5.            It is recommended to perform the Day End/ BODA Generation events on the same Business Day

6.            Avoid Force shutdown of devices , during business transactions

7.            Use stylus while working on the device

8.            USB provided with device should be used strictly only for offline file synchronization purpose. Folder structure on USB should not be changed

9.            BPMs are instructed to start the devices perform day begin transaction at least one hour prior to the arrival of bag at Branch office. So that the bag data will be fetched at B.O after closing bag at account office.

10.          BPMs are instructed to start the CBS transactions after performing the day begin operations only.

11.           In case if the device got struck at the time of day begin BPMs are instructed to tap on the screen till the day begin operation completed successfully. This is to avoid screen lock.

12.          BPMs are advised not to shut down the device after performing the day end transaction immediately. So that the data will synchronize with the RSI server.

13.          SPMs are instructed to enter the complete data of the article especially for VP and COD articles so as to any prevent issues after delivery of the article.

14.      For Bag closure, duplicate bag labels should not be reused within 7 days of earlier usage. If not complied, it causes bag related issues.
